They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” | And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. |
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. | And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. |

Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. | And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability. | And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. |
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. | But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. |
Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved. | And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. |
