- Seek good, not evil,
that you may live.
Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,
just as you say he is. - But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream! - This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants the prophets. - He builds his lofty palace in the heavens
and sets its foundation on the earth;
he calls for the waters of the sea
and pours them out over the face of the land—
the Lord is his name.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
