Conversion (2/2)

Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
“Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord.Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.
For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Let us search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the Lord.Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.
Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Take words with you, And return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity; Receive us graciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.”Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
“Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?”Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
