| Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. | Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. |
| Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. | By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. | By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. |
| And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. | By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |
| I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments. | I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments. |
