Bible Verses about Giving

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”Each person should give as much as he has decided in his heart, not with reluctance or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!But who am I, and what are your people, that we should be able to do this? All things belong to you, and everything that we have given you is from your hand.
Giving a gift can open doors; it gives access to important people!A gift opens doors for the giver and wins him access to the powerful.
The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.A generous person will be enriched; he who refreshes others will also be refreshed.
Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your crops.

For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.The one who provides seed for sowing and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works.

I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”Bring the tithes in full into the treasury so that there may be food in my house. Put me thus to the test, says the Lord of hosts, and see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down blessings upon you without measure.
When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward.
Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back.Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not demand the return of what is yours from the one who has taken it.
