- Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies,
And seek Him with all their heart. - So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
- I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad. - Put me like a seal over your heart,
Like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy is as severe as Sheol;
Its flames are flames of fire,
The flame of the Lord. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But desire fulfilled is a tree of life. - Only be very careful to follow the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways, and keep His commandments and cling to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.
- I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You. - And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
- But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - I have inherited Your testimonies forever,
For they are the joy of my heart. - Go then, eat your bread in happiness, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works.

Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in mercy
And relenting of catastrophe. - My son, pay attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
They are not to escape from your sight;
Keep them in the midst of your heart. - My son, if your heart is wise,
My own heart also will be glad. - Teach me Your way, Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” - Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to dishonest gain. - If an army encamps against me,
My heart will not fear;
If war arises against me,
In spite of this I am confident. - And He said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thereby He declared all foods clean.)
- I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders. - You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you has failed; they all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My refuge; I will not be shaken.
