Bible Verses about Heaven

  • Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
  • For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Whom do I have in heaven?
There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you.
  • The heavens declare the glory of God.
    The expanse shows his handiwork.
Day after day they pour out speech,
and night after night they display knowledge.
  • For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.
  • Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal.

  • Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

    who made heaven and earth.

so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh.
“Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh.
  • In Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom. He cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.’
  • As he came out of his mother’s womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.

While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing, who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky?
