  • He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
  • He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
  • Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”
  • So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
  • That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death.
  • Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
  • For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.
  • But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
  • Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great:
    God was revealed in the flesh,
    justified in the spirit,
    seen by angels,
    preached among the nations,
    believed on in the world,
    and received up in glory.
  • He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”
  • But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God’s love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
  • That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.
  • He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.
  • Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
  • He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”
  • Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.
  • Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.
  • The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.”
  • When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
  • For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.
  • Let no one therefore judge you in eating or drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day, which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s.
  • Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.
  • If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
  • The angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and shall name him ‘Jesus.’”
  • Who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.

He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him!”
