- It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever;
thy throne from generation to generation. - Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
