Law (2/5)

And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
If you love Me, keep My commandments. If you love me, keep my commands.
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.
Judge not, that you be not judged.Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone. He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.
Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall. The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.

I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
