Law (2/5)

The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also. And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love Me, keep My commandments.
What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn. And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.Judge not, that you be not judged.
The wise of heart will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin. The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall.
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord!
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for that is the whole duty of everyone.Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act—they will be blessed in their doing. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Those who keep the commandment will live; those who are heedless of their ways will die.He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But he who is careless of his ways will die.
I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.
You shall not murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother; also, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
Thus you shall keep my commandments and observe them: I am the Lord. Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

But now, apart from law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference.
