- I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye. - Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. - Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge:
but he that hateth reproof is brutish. - Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. - Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
- Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
- With my soul have I desired thee in the night;
yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:
for when thy judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. - Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.
- But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
- My doctrine shall drop as the rain,
my speech shall distil as the dew,
as the small rain upon the tender herb,
and as the showers upon the grass. - And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
- Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.Next verse!With image
