106 Bible Verses about Love (4/5)

« Galatians 5:14 »
New Internation VersionKing James Version
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
If you love me, keep my commands. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
“I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them. For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness. Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
‘Honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
