Matthew 5:37

Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.

All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one.

Let your word be ‘Yes, Yes’ or ‘No, No’; anything more than this comes from the evil one.

But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

But make sure your statement is, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil origin.

All you need to do is to say ‘Yes’ if you mean ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ if you mean ‘No.’ Anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
