Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.
Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.”
My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, ‘Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?’And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
