For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope. | For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. |
A man may plan his own course, but the Lord makes his steps secure. | A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps. |

However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God. | But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. |
Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets. | Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. |
Do not envy a violent man or choose to emulate any of his ways.
