Psalm 18 - NLT & NIV

I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.
To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless.
You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?
You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.
