Psalm 37 - NCB & NIV

Put your trust in the Lord and do good, that you may dwell in the land and be secure.Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will grant you what your heart desires.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord; place your trust in him, and he will act. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause, like the noonday.Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Preferable is the little that the righteous possess than the great wealth of the wicked. For the power of the wicked will be overcome, but the Lord protects the righteous.Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving.The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.
The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct.The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.
For the Lord loves the just, and he will not forsake his faithful ones. Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed, and the children of the wicked will be cut off.For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains;
from where will I receive help?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
