Salvation (4/4)

I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
My times are in Your hand; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. SelahPraise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
This wretched man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.
But I will sacrifice to You With a voice of thanksgiving. That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is from the Lord. But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise, and I will fulfill all my vows. For my salvation comes from the Lord alone.
For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death. For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment. So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
Please, O Lord, do save us; Please, O Lord, do send prosperity! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord; We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success. Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord.
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor?God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?
Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me in Your faithfulness.Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me.
Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church.
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
“And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of armies, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will have compassion for them just as a man has compassion for his own son who serves him.”“They will be my people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child.”
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.
