- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
- But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
- Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
- Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue. - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
- For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
- The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
- When pride cometh, then cometh shame:
but with the lowly is wisdom. - Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
- He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.Next verse! With image
