- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. - Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
- A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
- With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
- But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
- That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.
- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
- And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.
A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.Next verse! With image
