- The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
- The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
- The reward for humility and fear of the Lord
is riches and honor and life. - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
- The rich rules over the poor,
and the borrower is the slave of the lender. - He who finds a wife finds a good thing
and obtains favor from the Lord. - Without counsel plans fail,
but with many advisers they succeed. - A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - What is desired in a man is steadfast love,
and a poor man is better than a liar. - Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
but those who act faithfully are his delight. - Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it. - And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- But test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
- For the Lord is our judge;
the Lord is our lawgiver;
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
- And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.
- A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
and favor is better than silver or gold. - Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”Next verse!With image
