- For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
- And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
- I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

- Do not say,
“Why were the former days better than these?”
For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. - Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
- You are my hiding place;

You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah - Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me. - Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
- Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
