- Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.
- Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
- For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
- There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. - I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? - And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’
- Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
- If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
- But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe. - The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up. - Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
- My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies,
And from those who persecute me. - Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die. - You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah - Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
- But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
- See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
- I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
- There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
- Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
