| And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? | Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good? |
| But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. | It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant. |
| He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. | One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. |

If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry; and my wrath will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. |
