- You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by the Law; you have fallen from grace.
- And the Lord will be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.
- But as for you, proclaim the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.
- Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary. - Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.
- Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not become bitter against them.
- Do all things without complaining or arguments; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding firmly the word of life.
- So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
- Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.
Stop doing evil. - One who walks in integrity walks securely,
But one who perverts his ways will be found out. - For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
- Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is unsearchable. - In that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
- You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.
- But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.
- You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
- And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
- But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- But I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
- And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
- In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
- Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
- Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high,
And the wilderness becomes a fertile field,
And the fertile field is considered as a forest.
