- The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom,
And before honor comes humility. - Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - The fear of man brings a snare,
But one who trusts in the Lord will be protected. - To do righteousness and justice
Is preferred by the Lord more than sacrifice. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous runs into it and is safe. - Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His faithfulness is everlasting. - And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.

Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. - May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.

- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal faithfully are His delight. - So that we confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?” - I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
- Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things;
Let this be known throughout the earth.
