  • Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”
  • Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
  • So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
  • And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
  • And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
  • Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
  • But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
  • As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
  • So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
  • And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
  • For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
  • Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.
  • Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
  • For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
  • But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
  • And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
  • So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
  • And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
  • Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
  • Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
  • For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
  • For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.
  • But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
  • Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
