- Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.
- Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.
- Surely he will never be shaken;
The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. - But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
- Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. - But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth. - Judge not, that you be not judged.
- Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
- He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- As free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.

For You are my praise. - Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him. - But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
- And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—
“The Lord is one,”
And His name one. - Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. - The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself. - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
- A perverse man sows strife,
And a whisperer separates the best of friends.
