- Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.
- Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.
- Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Surely he will never be shaken;
The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. - Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.
- Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth. - But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
- Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

For You are my praise. - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
- And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—
“The Lord is one,”
And His name one. - As free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him. - The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.
