Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need. | Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. |
Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” | Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. |

From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, “Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” | From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. |
Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it. | And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. |
The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hope of the wicked will perish. | The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. |
You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him. | And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. |
It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. | It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. |
He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. | He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. |
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end. | For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end. |
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. | Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. |
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. | Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. |
But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God. | But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. |
In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything after him. | In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. |
Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you. | Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. |
Let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing, but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight. | Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. |
While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn. | And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. |
For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says. | For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. |
Then I saw all the labor and achievement that is the envy of a man’s neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind. | Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit. |
We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. | And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. |
With my soul I have desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me I will seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. | With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. |
For Yahweh says to the house of Israel: “Seek me, and you will live.” | For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live. |
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. | For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. |
Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you. | Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. |
I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown. | Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. |
Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know. | Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. |
