- Without consultation, plans are frustrated,
But with many counselors they succeed. - This also comes from the Lord of armies,
Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. - Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! - I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;
I will advise you with My eye upon you. - Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,

And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. - Turn to my rebuke,
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. - Do not envy a violent person,
And do not choose any of his ways.
For the devious are an abomination to the Lord;
But He is intimate with the upright. - Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- Lord, You are my God;
I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name;
For You have worked wonders,
Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. - I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever.
- When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me.
- But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you.
- But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
