- So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.

- I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
- I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death.
- What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may increase? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?

- But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”

- Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death; then they will hand him over to the gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised.
