Do (3/4)

I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!
Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.”Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.”
But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
In reply he said to them, “Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise.”John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”
Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow.Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his clothing.Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.
Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
For the customs of the peoples are false: a tree from the forest is cut down, and worked with an ax by the hands of an artisan; people deck it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move. Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field, and they cannot speak; they have to be carried, for they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor is it in them to do good. For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.
Get wisdom; get insight: do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.
In you, O Lord, I seek refuge; do not let me ever be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me.In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.
If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil ways, God changed his mind about the calamity that he had said he would bring upon them; and he did not do it.When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another. This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward.Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.

But I say to you, Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
