If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. | And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. |
Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. | So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. |

Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. | Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. |
Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it. | Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. |
Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. | And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. |
Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. | So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. |

I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart. | I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart. |
Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. | Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. |
Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. | Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. |
He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it. | The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. |
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. | To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. |
Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |
In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? | In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? |
So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?” | So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” |
Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth. | But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. |
Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. | Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. |
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. | Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. |

So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober. | So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. |
Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day. | How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. |
Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. | So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. |
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye? | Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? |
