It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
A faithful witness does not lie, But a false witness will utter lies.A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?

But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.
Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’?
