| I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. | I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. |
| Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. | Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. |
| For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. | For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. |
