But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. | But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. |
As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power, In judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress. | Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. |

Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. | Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. |
The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. | The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. |
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. | He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. |

He covets greedily all day long, But the righteous gives and does not spare. | He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not. |
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? | For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? |
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. | Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. |
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. | I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it? | For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? |
God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? | God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? |
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. | Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. |
Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one. | Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. |
These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat all that have fins and scales. I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. | I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. | Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. |
But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. | But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. |
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good? | And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? |
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. | If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. |
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. | Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. |
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones. | A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. |
