And do not forsake the law of your mother. - But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me. - Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
- My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction;
For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights. - Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”
- Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
- Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
- For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
- Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
