- But Yahweh said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.”
- When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.

- Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. - If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth.
- But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
- Don’t be wise in your own eyes.
Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body,
and nourishment to your bones. - Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.
- Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal.
- My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline,
neither be weary of his correction;
for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects,
even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights. - I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!
- Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry.
Don’t be silent at my tears.
For I am a stranger with you,
a foreigner, as all my fathers were.
