For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. Know therefore that Yahweh your God himself is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness to a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commandments.Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds.We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.

God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it.When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing, but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
