Bible Verses about 'Faith is the substance'

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. For we walk by faith, not by sight.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase.Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other. We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
