Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'False'
- A faithful witness will not lie:
but a false witness will utter lies. - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
- Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Excellent speech becometh not a fool:
much less do lying lips a prince. - Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
- Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. - For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.Next verse!With image
