- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
- I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
- Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
- I made haste, and did not delay
To keep Your commandments. - All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.

But a false witness will utter lies. - Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
- For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
