- Lord, all my desire is before you.
My groaning is not hidden from you. - How I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house.
- But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
being small among the clans of Judah,
out of you one will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel;
whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times. - Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - For whoever finds me finds life,
and will obtain favor from Yahweh. - Get wisdom.
Get understanding.
Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth. - For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
- But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
- Yahweh will keep you from all evil.
He will keep your soul.
Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in,
from this time forward, and forever more. - Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness.
According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.
Cleanse me from my sin. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Bring us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. - My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil,
to cut off their memory from the earth. - Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. - Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.
- From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, “Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”
- If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
- You, Yahweh, remain forever.
Your throne is from generation to generation. - If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.
- I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
- We have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances.
- For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
