- Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile. - Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue. - Put away from thee a froward mouth,
and perverse lips put far from thee. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. - My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

from whence cometh my help.

for my expectation is from him. - I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

- Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. - Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death.
