For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Indeed, the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any two-edged sword, it pierces to the point where it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and the intentions of the heart.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn.
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.In the same way, even the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs that cannot be put into words.
For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your gracious Spirit lead me along a level path.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.Stay awake and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.A cheerful heart is excellent medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.
And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.You shall be holy, for I, the Lord, am holy. I have chosen you from among all people that you shall be mine.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will remove from your body a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh in its place.
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.And the one who searches hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.One who gossips reveals secrets, but a trustworthy man keeps things hidden.
This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
