- Because Your favor is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
- For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

- But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

- Since you are precious in My sight,
Since you are honored and I love you,
I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
- Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to You a heart of wisdom. - Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.
- For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“The one who desires life, to love and see good days,
Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
He must turn away from evil and do good;
He must seek peace and pursue it.” - Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. - Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
- Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
- It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!”
And after the vows to make inquiry. - House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
- For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
- Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
- For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
