Gift of life (3/4)

  • And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
  • Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
  • Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage.
  • But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
  • I will never forget Your precepts,
    For by them You have given me life.
  • Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
  • For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
  • For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
  • And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
  • For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
  • These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
  • As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
  • Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
  • One thing I have desired of the Lord,
    That will I seek:
    That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
    All the days of my life,
    To behold the beauty of the Lord,
    And to inquire in His temple.
  • By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
  • Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.
  • Behold, God is my helper;
    The Lord is with those who uphold my life.
  • But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
  • The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
  • I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.
  • For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
  • But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
  • But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
  • So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
    My lips shall praise You.
    Thus I will bless You while I live;
    I will lift up my hands in Your name.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will rejoice over you with singing.
