- But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

And afterward to reconsider his vows. - Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
- For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
- For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
- For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning. - Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
- Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
