- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.

And give you peace. - Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!
- Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Make them remember that His name is exalted.” - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
- And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
- But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect.
- For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow,
And every tongue will give praise to God.” - I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
